Steps to reproduce:

I copied that long data-url from here
http://www.heise.de/forum/p-28648818/
into the url field. Okay, a nice little graphic.

Then I switched to another tab, with a reasonable long URL like
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/foundation/licensing/website-content/
(the string needs to be longer than the url-field)
and moved the mouse over that url-field


Actual results:

A large tooltip window appeared, with a lot of unused space


Expected results:

I would like a tooltip window just large enough to show the text it shall show, but not with a lot of empty unused space

The same happens with seamonkey too, well I created this bug report with seamonkey, but this firefox shows the same problem:
