We are creating two variant designs for a new mozilla.org home page to test against the current home page (and each other). This bug tracks the work on Concept B (for lack of a better name). We'll use an Optimizely redirect to send a percentage of traffic to the new page and use a combination of Google Analytics and a survey to measure success.

Aside from the nav, copy has been added to the page and will be up on the demo server in ~25 minutes.

I also owe you a brand new survey link. Please do not push this page live until I have provided one. We're awaiting one outstanding question regarding a question for the Prototype B survey, after which I'll get you a new link. Which survey link is there now? The one provided for Prototype A?

I'm going to open a PR for prototype B without a survey message/link. When the link is ready, I'll open a small PR to add it.

So awesome! Thanks, Jon. RE: Innovation Section: Appears there is a conflict happening for "Innovation" with the button class "toggle open" and "toggle close." It only occurs at 768px wide and 800px wide – appears as intended at 980px wide and higher. Firefox 47 and Safari 9 are both substituting a system font for "Our Impact" and "Innovations." Can the sketchy-gear-green.png be flipped along its vertical axis so that the "less busy" side generally falls beneath the links? Or, probably easier, I can just supply you with a new PNG with the image flipped. (Screenshot from Sketch mockup) RE: Intro Section I was experimenting a bit with line height for the headline and I'm wondering if we could use a line height of 130% there? I think I had too much padding between the headline and the h3 subhead. Perhaps decreasing it by 20px?

Direction for placement: To increase the likelihood that users see the page content before taking the survey, we would like to present the survey like we did on prototype A (https://cl.ly/0e0f0h3Q1L0D - see bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1283208#c5) When user scrolls down page and enters Firefox section, horizontal bar containing survey link appears from bottom of page. Please see prototype A for direction (interaction, code, placement, style, copy). If a mockup or further discussion is needed please let me know.
