The following page has instructions on how to download symbols for debugging in Windows, but nothing for OSX, e.g. Xcode or lldb: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Using_the_Mozilla_source_server

The MDN team is no longer actively working on Mozilla Platform docs. Volunteer contributions are welcome.
