User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.112 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: I installed Firfefox both on my PC (Windows Vista OS) and laptop (Windows 10 OS); both run from same router. It works fine on Laptop but NOT on PC. Message comes up as follows:- The proxy server is refusing connections Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections. Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct. Contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. Actual results: As above. Therefore I cannot use Firefox on my PC. Expected results: I wanted to use Firefox as my default browser on my PC as I do on my laptop. In the version Box above I have put 1.0 Branch but I do not know. All I do know is it was downloaded from the Mozilla Firefox GB webpage.

Thanks for your report. Let me ask you a few follow-up questions in order to try to narrow down what you're experiencing! (You can find out the version in the "About Firefox" menu option. You probably have version 46 or 47.) Are you configuring Firefox to use a proxy on purpose or not? On the PC where you get this problem, is there a possibility that there's a firewall, antivirus software or similar that prevents Firefox from doing what it wants to do?
