User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0 Build ID: 20160502172042 Steps to reproduce: Have more than 6 aliases. Delete one which isn’t visible without scrolling, but not the last. Actual results: The next alias (let’s call it X) seems to be selected (the prompt when hitting the [Delete] button in GUI mentions the next alias), but the selection is not visible. When selecting another alias, that other alias is displayed correctly (visible selection). When clicking on the alias X again, there is no visible selection. Expected results: X should be visibly selected.

Attached patch patch (obsolete) — — Splinter Review
These problems are already known from the filter list dialog. It seems some problem with the listbox XUL widget, which is picky (and optimizes out some stuff that is not currently visible). I've tried various games in the path here to upset the widget less (like not removing/rebuilding all the rows, selecting rows in a timeout). It still does not work 100% (e.g. creating new identity does not always create a visible selection). But I am not sure we can do more.

Not sure we should be working around widget problems too heavily (unless it's in a prominent area)...
looks like it's back to aceman

Comment on attachment 8776323 [details] [diff] [review] patch <listbox> which was identified as the problem is now gone If the problem still occurs in the new world, let's fix it where it should be fixed and not paper over the problem.
