Playing http://nyti.ms/1X9fG3K has intermittent (throughout playback but not all the time) decoding issues. I'm on the latest nightly on a Microsoft Surfacebook running Windows 10. I've attached about:support output and will attached some screenshots once I figure out why my PrtScn key isn't working :)

It seems to happen consistently at this time in the video and supposedly this links directly to that point: http://nyti.ms/1TIlI4Y
The video https://vp.nyt.com/video/2016/05/30/40291_1_vn-icecream-wars_wg_480p.mp4 at around 38 seconds and appears to be corrupt in places. The issue is reproducible on Edge but not Chrome. Not sure why.
Mass change P2 -> P3
Priority: P2 → P3

goes with attachment in comment 5: I am also seeing artifacts on Firefox 48.0.2 (and earlier) and on Edge (but also not Chrome with nytimes.com videos. An example video is http://nyti.ms/2bIuchG. I have attached a screen shot of the kinds of artifacts I see - they last a few seconds and flicker, but have the general pattern of two horizontal bars as shown. Windows 10 Home x64: build 14393.105. Using built-in graphics on i3-2100 processor. Intel (R) HD Graphics, driver version 9.17.10.4229.
