I was wondering why my nightly firefox wasn't updating for a while. I realized I was running Firefox 48- so I uninstalled all firefox-trunk and found: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-mozilla-daily/+archive/ubuntu/ppa I added the ppa, updated and installed firefox-trunk: sudo apt-get install firefox-trunk Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done The following NEW packages will be installed: firefox-trunk 0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 3 not upgraded. Need to get 39.3 MB of archives. After this operation, 152 MB of additional disk space will be used. Get:1 http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu/ trusty/main firefox-trunk amd64 48.0~a1~hg20160331r291037-0ubuntu1~umd1~trusty [39.3 MB] Fetched 24.4 MB in 24s (1,005 kB/s) Selecting previously unselected package firefox-trunk. Please restart all running instances of firefox-trunk, or you will experience problems. jmaher@jmaher-ThinkPad-X230:~$ why is this getting a version of firefox from March 31st? Looking on the page linked above for the ppa, there are recent 49 builds from this week (June 1, 2016).
I don't think this is a Mozilla problem. This sounds like an Ubuntu issue...
Marking as invalid since this isn't a Mozilla issue.
