Steps to reproduce:

Right click tab to select 'move to new window' or dragging the tab to the browser window


Actual results:

New window opens BLANK and I'm unable to CTRL-SHIFT-T back in previous window to bring restore the tab 


Expected results:

New window should open with the expected tab

I have tested this issue on the latest Firefox (47.0) release and latest Nightly (50.0a1) build, but I could not reproduce it. I have opened the browser and visited 2 websites in 2 different tabs. I right clicked on the second tab and chose the "Move to New Window" option. The tab was opened in a new window and the website was correctly loaded.

Can you please retest this using latest FF release and latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results ? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause (https://goo.gl/PNe90E).  

If this issue is still reproducible, can you please provide a screen recording?

Fixed in latest build. Clearly some editing going on as this Nightly build shows menu option as "open in new non-e10s window".
