We are removing such contents with "Bug 1268357 - nav_help.xhtml: Mentioned "Sidebar Advanced Search Mode" does not exist" and "Bug 1268936 - cs_nav_prefs_navigator.xhtml: Mentioned "Sidebar Advanced Search Mode" does not exist".
So references also should be removed from indexes and similar like "help-index1.rdf". You find this file in an en-US language pack in "...\chrome\en-US\locale\en-US\communicator\help".

This one probably has l10n impact!

Just attach a patch to the bug. The help viewer is currently broken. You can check out the current comm-esr52 code and build the patch against it. If you need help building seaMonkey I can provide a guide for Windows only.

Not noise, good research. Yes, fixed in bug 1236365
