WFM, Linux 2002022608.
Reporter: PLease always include build ID in bug-reports.
Also: There is some menus that want Flash on that page.
Do you have flash installed? Are you listening to music when the hang occures
(xmms or other apps that use /dev/dsp)

Please report back on web in the form for "Additional Comments"
More details: Mozilla 0.9.8
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.8) Gecko/20020204
Shockwave Flash 5.0 r47
URL works fine, if the flashplugin is disabled!
Again: Are you listening to music when the hang occures?
(Suspecting duplicate of bug 58339)
I must apologize ... I had a defect dsp-device on my system - it seems that an
experimental sound system left it in an unusable state, which leads to a
blocking flashplugin ... dunno if mozilla could do anything about a situation
like this. See bug report 58339
There are some hints about workarounds in bug 58339:
One can try using the "esd" sound daemon that comes with Gnome (and possibly
others) Or try using the artsdsp in KDE2 to start mozilla with (or even esddsp)
But some soundcard drivers seem to have definite trouble on linux: in particular
es1371.

Resolving as duplicate since /dev/dsp was the problem in combination with flash.
If you think you have information relevant for that bug, do add comment there.
