Steps to reproduce:

Create an XMPP account and allow it to connect.
set chat.prpls.forcePurple  to empty/blank in about:config (to overcome certificate issues with a local XMPP server)
Close Instantbird.


Actual results:

The application hangs indefinitely.  Windows offers to kill the unresponding process.

If I disconnect the account before I close IB, then IB closes correctly.


Expected results:

uh, Instantbird should not han
If possible, please provide more details about the XMPP server you are connecting to. Usually JS-XMPP does not crash on shutdown ;)

The XMPP Server I am using is the one that you get with FreePBX (asterisk underneath).
