Steps to reproduce:

On both Archlinux and Ubuntu:

1- visit a page like https://inspirehep.net/author/profile/P.C.Rowson.1


Actual results:

The loading may take up to 1 minute and during the loading the system experiences lockup


Expected results:

On other browsers it loads in less than 1 seconds

Hello Marco. I couldn't reproduce the behavior on the latest release version: 47.0 Build ID 	20160604131506.
I'm suspecting one of your addons to be culpable therefore could you try to see if the issue is reproducible with safe mode enabled? (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode)

Thanks for your answer Adrian. Before submitting the bug I tried with all addons disabled but the problem was still there. Sorry that I forgot to mention that!
Anyhow with the upgrade to v47 now it seems to be solved!
