If the file is saved as something.html then opened everything is fine.
a) Always add a build ID ? b) You can attach a test case or a URL ?
Would this be because the JSP sends the wrong content/type? Look in page info to see what type Mozilla gets...
Here's a JSP page. Works fine in IE but doesn't in Mozilla or Netscape 6.2.1. Dave. http://archive.moreservlets.com/Web-App-Code/deployDemo/TestPage.jsp It probably does not return a content type i.e. just HTML
The following is the tcp stream for that page: GET /Web-App-Code/deployDemo/TestPage.jsp HTTP/1.1 Accept: image/gif, image/x-xbitmap, image/jpeg, image/pjpeg, */* Accept-Language: en-us Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows 98) Host: archive.moreservlets.com Connection: Keep-Alive HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Tue, 26 Feb 2002 22:27:11 GMT Server: Apache/1.3.3 (Unix) PHP/3.0.11 FrontPage/184.108.40.206 Last-Modified: Tue, 10 Jul 2001 18:54:36 GMT ETag: "f66c4-cc-3b4b4f6c" Accept-Ranges: bytes Content-Length: 204 Keep-Alive: timeout=15, max=100 Connection: Keep-Alive Content-Type: text/plain <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD><TITLE>JSP Test Page</TITLE></HEAD> <BODY BGCOLOR="#FDF5E6"> <H2>URI: <%= request.getRequestURI() %></H2> </BODY></HTML> Notice that the server does not have tomcat installed: Server: Apache/1.3.3 (Unix) PHP/3.0.11 FrontPage/220.127.116.11

Summary: When receiving HTML from JSP displays as text → moreservlets.com - When receiving HTML from JSP displays as text
Content-Type: text/plain That's the problem. I recently made a small servlet, and experienced the same problem with it. This is no bug in Mozilla, just in the servlet/JSP page. They should set the content-type to text/html instead of text/plain (which is the default)
