Linux PPC? I presume this is a build you are doing yourself, since we don't have any official builds of Firefox for PPC?
Since this isn't an official build, it won't have crash reporting enabled, so in order to diagnose this further you'll have to provide a stack trace and crash details from a debugger.

Oh I see. Do you have line number information? Also, what signal and crash address is involved?
This is in text formatting code, so it's possible that this is related to the font system or the particular fonts you are using.
