User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_10_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.102 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Click on Get messages or any mail folder Actual results: I repeatedly get the message "Login to server imap.googlemail.com failed". It prompts me to "Enter New Password," but that doesn't have any effect. After retrying 7 more times it usually gives up. Sometimes the problem resolves itself and everything works normally, but lately it seems to be constant, making Thunderbird useless to me. Expected results: Logins to imap.googlemail.com are usually instantaneous via Verizon FiOS 75Mbps up/down in my area in the western suburbs of Boston. I have never experienced this problem until recently.
This only happens in the Mac OS X version and does not happen in the Windows version. Both are 45.1.1.

No, I don't get a password prompt on the Windows machine. I've never experienced the problem on the Windows machine. Yes, I have passwords stored on both Mac and Windows machines. I have not experienced this problem recently, but it happened quite often at the time this bug was reported.
