User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Build ID: 20160611004009 Steps to reproduce: I was using Firefox normally like before, opening various sites. The problem started after Aurora updated to 49. Actual results: Everything works fine at first after I start Firefox. Eventually Reddit and/or Facebook would get stuck on connecting, with a blank tab and progress spinner. Once this starts for a site, generally the only way to make it work again is to restart Firefox. Reload attempts and new tabs for the same site were never helpful. Meanwhile, Firefox works correctly for all other sites. One time Facebook started working again after I closed all other tabs. This happened in both 32-bit Windows 7 and 64-bit Windows 10 with 64-bit Firefox. Disabling all extensions except for uBlock Origin did not help. Expected results: When this happened, I would test the site in Edge in Windows 10 and Internet Explorer in Windows 7. They worked properly and were not especially slow. They should have also worked in Firefox.
Disabling uBlock Origin did not help. So, this happens even with all extensions disabled.
boris, Does the problem happen in safe mode? If it does and And if you go back to 48, does the problem go away?

I'm now running 49.0a2 (2016-06-14) in safe mode using my regular profile. I just booted Windows 7 and started Firefox. After following a YouTube link from a Facebook message, the video page is stuck on Connecting. http://www.youtube.com and https://www.youtube.com are also stuck on connecting. Everything works in Internet Explorer. Before the request to try safe mode, I was trying a new profile, and didn't see any problems there yet. I will continue to use the new profile now.
The new profile seemed fine until I installed HTTPS Everywhere. Of course, maybe I was just lucky, and never ran into the bug by chance, but I think I waited long enough. Then even after uninstalling HTTPS Everywhere I still had the problem. The problem is also happening in Nightly 50.0a1 (2016-06-17) now with my normal profile with HTTPS Everywhere and other extensions. It's weird. https://www.reddit.com is always stuck on "Connecting..." normally, but loads in a private window. That could be related to being logged in on Reddit, and not logged in on the private window, but I'm also logged in on Edge and Reddit works fine there. Also https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox works sometimes in the normal window.
I've been seeing this since 49. I think RyanVM has too. ni? him in case he already filed a bug for this...
