no text on the tabs I open. Only picto, see attached image.

Does this work in a separate new profile ( https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles ) and/or in safe mode ( https://support.mozilla.org/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_3-restart-firefox-in-safe-mode ) ? It looks like you use a number of extensions, and it's quite plausible that one of them causes this issue.

Disabled tabmixplus extension, this solved the problem.
