User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0 Build ID: 20160604131506 Steps to reproduce: I have updated Firefox to 47.0. Then I start Firefox and visit some pages. Identified until now: The Preferences page, and the Firefox download page (I tried to download the beta to check if it works) I have tried with a fresh start, with some other tabs open, in private mode, and it crashes. Firefox 47.0 in Windows 8.1. Just let me know if I can get some logs or test anything. Actual results: Firefox hangs and I have to force-close it. CPU use goes to 0% and memory use does not change. Expected results: It should work fine. It worked fine before.
OS: Unspecified → Windows 8.1
Hardware: Unspecified → x86_64
It seems to be a false alarm, sorry for the noise. A Windows Explorer window was not responding and it seems that it affected Firefox behaviour. I restarted Windows Explorer and now Firefox works fine.
