User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0 Build ID: 20160420141331 Steps to reproduce: Trying to log in on addons.mozilla.org to review an extension. Actual results: Can't login any more if you don't have a Firefox account. Expected results: I should be allowed to access addons.mozilla.org in order to write a review for an extension *even without an account* (as guest) because a simple act like writing a review shouldn' t require a Firefox account which is tied to things like Sync, Pocket, Hello and possibly other services that I may be not willing to use at all and have no effect whatsoever on the simple matter of using extensions. As a system for rating extensions, the more simple users are allowed to write reviews (within guidelines), the more reliable the whole system: if you start cutting off users who don't have, need or want a Firefox account, you will be effectively cutting down on the number of available reviews, impairing the system reliability.
This is feature request or enhancement.
The cost of maintaining two login systems on addons.mozilla.org is a significant technical and security burden that is not worth the cost to Mozilla. Many millions of users have Firefox Accounts and for them its a really simple flow to log into addons.mozilla.org. Just because you create an account for addons.mozilla.org using Firefox Accounts doesn't mean you have to use it for Sync, Pocket, Hello or any other service.
