User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0 Build ID: 20160601155443 Steps to reproduce: Go to easyjet.com/en Hover over Flights and Travel Info (top left). On the appearing menu, select Flight Tracker. The required page does not appear. Site is OK in IE Go to https://www.easyjet.com/en/flight-tracker Use the right-hand boxes to Search by Origin/Destination, select an origin and a destination (such that a real flight comes up). Hit Search. On the flight or flights that appear, in the Status column, select the "more (i)" target. Nothing happens. Again, OK in IE Actual results: links were not followed Expected results: First example should have gone to https://www.easyjet.com/en/flight-tracker Second example should have gone to https://www.easyjet.com/en/flight-tracker/EZYnnn where nnn is the flight number concerned
I can't reproduce this bug with Firefox 47, I see that you are using Firefox 45, are you using the Extended Support Release version of Firefox? If not can you update to 47 and check again? Thanks
Yes, I am on 45.2.0 ESR. I have actually had quite a few similar issues with this version anyway so I will give 47 a go. As a point of information, has the Nightly version from 16th May (when I was looking at bug 1272465) found its way into a release version yet? (/where would I find this info) Would this be 47? Thanks
47 did nothing so I restarted in Safe Mode and problem wwent away; same with 45 ESR. Tracked it to the Avast Online Security Extension (10.3.3.44) which when disabled makes the problem go away. Presumably this needs reporting to Avast - or does Firefox have a communication channel open to Avast?
Hello Reporter, This is a known issue. Please see the following link for more information https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1100605

OK, thanks, I think I see; I now notice that the response failure occurs when the browser jumps from http to https. (Also see https://www.avast.com/en-gb/faq.php?article=AVKB190 - though nothing specific re. Firefox there). But my FF has the Avast certificate installed; the thread you flagged appears to suggest that once the Avast certificate is installed all is then OK. Do I need to do something else?
I am not sure this (Comments 4 /5 ) is the same problem. If I disable https scanning in Avast the problem does not go away. I have to disable the Avast Online Security / Reputation extension.
