Yes. Was investigating this before MozLondon. I'd talked a little to :cpearce about this, and what the error means -- though I haven't got that far into investigating this. Was hoping to work on it shortly, but will have to wait for the jenkins nodes to be back up.

This was happening consistently on our Windows 8 node IIRC (can't reach dashboard ATM due to servers being down). I don't think I've been able to repro it locally and am not exactly sure what's happening. I'll grab this ticket for when the servers are back in the land of the living. In terms of the fails in the external tests I think this is a high priority to make our external eme tests give more meaningful results.
