Details

(Keywords: testcase-wanted)

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0
Build ID: 20160604131506

Steps to reproduce:

Used a datepicker-days element on a bootstrap datepicker textfield on a form which has HTML 5 inputs like type=number on a valid HTML5 page with latest versions of jQuery and Bootstrap running (and very little custom form validation javascript based on those libraries).

Clicked on a non-selectable element. Blinking text cursor appears on that as well.

Actual results:

Blinking cursor appears on all elements, incl. top level divs, links, etc... on all pages open in the browser - indicating this is not (only) a Javascript failure.

No other functionality is impared and it will probably go away on browser reload. Just thought you should know.

Expected results:

Blinking cursor should only appear on writable elements.
Could you provide a reduced testcase, please.
