Details

Please remove Mozilla Advocacy project from Polish Pontoon.
This was explicitly requested (and translated) by Michal, so I assume he wants to keep it on Pontoon https://github.com/mozilla/advocacy.mozilla.org/commits/master/locales/pl
Flags: needinfo?(mdziewonski)
Michał Dziwoński is not a member of translation team in general (he maintains SUMO, https://mail.mozilla.org/pipermail/community-poland/2015/000431.html). This was not consulted with Polish team and those translations are not ready to be published. I will fill separate bug to make something with permissions in Pontoon.
(In reply to Francesco Lodolo [:flod] from comment #1) > This was explicitly requested BTW, where?
Oh, apologies if I put the cart before the horse. I saw a request from the Advocacy team regarding making their content available in more locales, so I thought adding a project to Pontoon and taking care of it (with its relatively small size) would be the easiest way to contribute. What is the actual process of requesting something Polish to be added to Mozilla?

(In reply to vesper from comment #4) > What is the actual process of requesting something Polish to be added to > Mozilla? Could you rephrase your question?
1. There is a new Mozilla project present on an l10n platform within Mozilla already, but it's missing in Polish. 2. A Mozillian wants to localize the project into Polish. 3. What should the Mozillian in question do?
I don't see how Mozillian could have a problem with that, for Mozilla employee on the other hand it is quite possible. Person interested in localizing something should simply contact localization team or general localization community.
OK, apologies for jumping in too fast, then. Please remove the project from Pontoon and proceed as you see fit.
Pull request with a team mention (or @splewako or @piotrdrag) should be also fine most of the time (we use this even internally, https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-content-server-l10n/pull/105).
