The test is pretty straight forward. My best guess is that gUM is failing to produce video frames, because that would keep us from issuing "canplaythrough" which is one of the things we're waiting for when we time out.
If not that, we're not getting "timeupdate" events, possibly meaning a problem with MSG. Not as likely though.
