disposition of it is...

Reporter, I assume this isn't a offline problem per se (ie you are
not trying these steps while offline?).

oh, it's not an offline bug at all. It's an import or a front end problem - I
think there's no import on linux, so there shouldn't be any front end for it.

Yes, I've seen a similar bug before but I don't know the bug #. I'll look for it
but I think it's a dup of another bug. On Linux we don't support mail import
(for now).
