User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0
Build ID: 20160604131506
Steps to reproduce:
I cut a URL using Ctrl+x.
Actual results:
Then, b/c it may've been a video or a comments page that I wanted to reload, or some other reason, I needed to reload the page...and the reload option was no longer available and the browser had no idea what page it was on any longer (i.e., if you hit the Down Arrow button, it doesn't show the current page's URL, it shows previous ones ONLY)
Expected results:
Reload button used to NOT disappear when one did this.
The Down Arrow would show the current url.
Reloading was possible.
(Note: in the image, the orange box is just hiding my bookmarks [which reveals my workplace and other related info])

You can hit the escape key to revert the location bar, which will re-provide a reload button.
I don't think we want to change anything here, but maybe UX feels differently. Stephen?

I think this has been a problem for a while, at least from my experience. I tried to reproduce it just now and the first time I couldn't but the second time I could. The reload button turned into the "go" arrow, and clicking it didn't do anything.
I'm going to take the liberty of needinfo'ing for Stephen since I agree that this is something that shouldn't happen.

hm, now we hide all the icons when the location bar is in edit mode, that I think makes things a little bit clearer.
