This bug was filed from the Socorro interface and is report bp-c350af49-da67-4a8a-9f73-11dfc2160623. ============================================================= Running MozillaThunderbird-45.1.1-1.2.x86_64 on openSUSE Tumbleweed 20160621. Thunderbird crashes on startup with any profile that contains an account. If I create a new profile, it starts, but crashes when I add an account, when I click "Done" to save the account details.
When did this start happening? It didn't crash in version 45.0 or 45.1? Or was 38 your immediately prior version?

There are no function names in the stack trace :( I think SUSE makes their own build with gcc version ahead of mozilla. Or have you built TB yourself? I'm not sure what we can do here with proper stack. Can you try an official build from mozilla.org ? Or may this be bug 1251576, worked around in https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=986162 ? If you want the SUSE version they propose to use version 45.1-1.13 or later. Can you try that?
Clifford, Not enough information here for this to be actionable. Please add more information and we can take a closer look.
