UI visible changes:
- There's now a notification in the text chat when a peer joins the room.
Metrics:
- We now log an additional event that will tell us if the connection has succeeded or not.

There's an additional patch in the pipeline that I think we should incorporate, this would help with the future releases as well, and save a potential second release this week.
