When highlighting C++ vars, the first ident is sometimes not the var name. In this case, a bunch of other weird things highlight.
The situation has improved a lot with Emilio's patch from bug 1510318. Since there's no specific example here I'm just going to close this bug as WFM. We have other bugs on file for specific instances of problems.
