There seem to be a couple bugs where people find this document, and use it to try to configure PAC. I think we should add a note at the top that says this is developer documentation, and end users need to go to online help or some other current location.

I've added comments to the docs to obsolese the file. I don't know if I will go back and annotate further w/ bugs, I'm actually learning javascript and trying to re-write a lot of the functions so they work better.

i had thought that this bug was to track documenting PAC files, in general. it looks like it was only meant to track updating http://www.mozilla.org/docs/netlib/pac.html . i just opened bug 244640 to track the need for general PAC documentation in mozilla end user help.

V/fixed. This document should remain for historical purposes... now that mozilla.com has an official support site, I'll push out the other types of technical info to the site via that group... (I'm sort of back to reading bugmail again...)
