Open a page with an autoplaying video such as: http://edition.cnn.com/2016/06/25/politics/military-transgender-ban/index.html Force close the browser using Android's Recent app's screen. Wait for a while. Firefox will be restarted in the background, maybe because an Android service is running, or a service worker, etc. What you get is the audio from that page, even though you didn't open Firefox yourself.
We expect Firefox to play audio/video while in the background. In Firefox 50 we introduced media controls in the Android notification area like a media player. You can stop playback easily with that feature.
