Description

I have 3 different mail accounts. Each of them needs their own smtp server. If I
send an email with account A with smtp server of account B and vice versa, I get
errors from the server, that it won't accept mails from account A but only from
its own account B...

It would be great if each account had its own smtp server settings

They do.

Go to Edit > Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings. To set up additional SMTP
servers, select 'Outgoing Server (SMTP)' and hit the 'Advanced...' button. To
specify the SMTP server that an account should use, select the account you want
in the left-hand pane and press the 'Adavcned...' button. Easy when you know
how. :-)

Zak McKracken (is that your real name?), does that solve your problem?

Ok, my fault BUT:

I have one smtp server as default. when i try to send my unsent messages this
default setting pops up and asks me for my password. If confirm my password, the
window will pop up again and again.

It also seems to me, that the other account don't always sent with their
associated servers, but try to use the default one from time to time
