128395 - window, sidebar display settings get forgotten

Suddenly (after many months of normal operation), both the Mozilla browser and
Mozilla mail decided to change the window size (to small), the sidebar display
(to   "on"), and the mailbox display. (This is with Mozilla 0.9.5 and 0.9.7.)
And now it will not adjust to my preferences (large window size, no sidebar,
display the names of mailboxes so I can read them). Each time I open Mozilla (or
Mozilla mail) now, it reverts to : small, sidebar on. It doesn't seem to
remember my changes to the settings. This is pretty minor, but it's also pretty
inconvenient. (Truth be told, it's the sort of stubbornness I use to associate
with Micros**t products.) Is there some file with initialization settings that I
should be changing? And how did this get changed in the first place?
(Immediately prior to this change, I had modified my ".bashrc" file, but only to
change a default editor.)

Try moving your user profile directory's localstore.rdf out (rename it).  Then
restart mozilla.

Sam Bucovetsky: Did deleting localstore.rdf help?

1.0RC3)? If not, mark this bug "worksforme"

I edited some file, I think..maybe upgraded the mozilla release, anyway ->
