Build ID ?
Have you a talkback ID of that crash ?
Use the "create new attachment link" on this page.
Do you run Mozilla as root if you install the JRE ?
Severity: normal → critical

BTW, if a .jpg is too big, consider using a .png for your attachment.

Build ID:2002020415
Mozilla started from normal user (not root)

AFAIK you must install Linux as Root. IF the installation is complete and Java
doesn't work with mozilla -> read the Relase notes/section Java

OK it works, if you install it as root, while browsing the WEB as root.
But I do not want to browse the WEB as root because of security.
Could Mozilla install such Plugins per user (eg. in ~/.mozilla/plugins)?
If not: please tell the user (something link: "please ask you admin")!
Thank you!

It's no bug that you must install as root.
It's open because the reporter requested a warning about "ask your admin for the
installation"....

ok, based on commetns I am removing the crash keyword, and updating the Summary
to reflect this is a RFE for a dialog or comment string notifying hte user to
contact their admin.
We will review all RFEs at a later date

its not a bug, but its some times a problem, maybe, because you need to have
root access to install the plugins, but, ok.
No Problem for me after I have been told that I just have to install it as root.
