it's always reproducable; Version 0.9.8 2002020406; copying NS4's npswf32.dll
and ShockwaveFlash.class into C:\Programme\mozilla.org\Mozilla\Plugins did not
change anything (before Mozilla used NS4's files)

Make sure you either restart Mozilla or else go to
Help -> About Plug-ins
to reload the plug-ins in the plugins folder. Otherwise it won't know the new
files are there.
from 'about:plugins':
File name: C:\Programme\mozilla.org\Mozilla\plugins\npswf32.dll
Shockwave Flash 5.0 r41
And, yes, I restarted Mozilla after installing the plugin.
