In the past you could click on a mail folder in the folder pane, and then use <alt><shift-C> (or <ctrl><shift-C> for the non-Emacs folk who haven't switched the Accelerator modifier around) and all of the new messages would be marked as read. Now you have to click on the message pane in order to use that shortcut, it doesn't work in the header or folder panes.

The behavior in 1.1 [2002080819] and the trunk seems okay now.

This bug has reappeared in the Mozilla 1.4 release. Exactly the same problem. It's very annoying! Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624
