Build ID: 20160712003002

The location bar should have reflected the new URL.
OS: Unspecified → Linux
Hardware: Unspecified → x86_64
This problem has actually existed for several dot releases now, it isn't new in 2.47a1. I've just got fed up with the new behaviour. Firefox continues to behave as I expect Seamonkey to.
This happens sometimes also for me with Windows 8.1
Probably a DUP of "Bug 1279689 - Location Bar contents not updated when opening new page in the same TAB by link, History or bookmark", what itself is a DUP of "Bug 1272401 - Port Firefox Bug 1241085 Parts 2 and 3, and maybe 4 This should fix SeaMonkey Bug 1270848 - Back and Forward buttons unavailable ".

@Reporter: Thank you for your attention.

Seamonkey bugs shouldn't be dupes of Firefox ones...
