Trunk build 2002-03-01: WinMe, Linux RH 7.1 Overview: In the Mailing List dialog autocomplete with a card in the CURRENT address book, close the dialog and the results pane doesn't display the card. Steps to reproduce: 1. With an address book selected create 3 cards 2. In the same address book create a list, and close the list without entering any addresses. 3. Select the list in the directory pane, select Properties button to open the list (you could also double click the list) 4. Autocomplete with a card in the current AB, close the list Actual Results: The card does not automatically appear in the results pane (this is true for cards with or without the pretty name) workaround: Switch to another list/ab and then back to the original list and the card now appears in results pane. After an exit/restart the card still remains. Expected Results: The card should automatically display in the results pane. Add'l Info: Autocomp with card in a different AB appears to be ok.

Marking nsbeta1. Users will use autocomplete to create a list and after closing the list they won't see any cards in the results pane, resulting in much confusion.

Ninoschka, can you reproduce this all of the time? I just tried this on the 3/1 build and it worked for me.

Yes, I can reproduce this consistently. The key is to select the list in the directory pane (left pane), select the Properties dialog, now autocomplete with an entry in the Current AB.

Trunk build 2002-12-23-08: WinMe Trunk build 2002-12-26-03: Mac 10.1.3 didn't try linux. This problem still occurs for any type of list (empty or populated) when the list dialog is opened from the directory pane: Select the list in the directory pane (left pane), select the Properties dialog, autocomplete with an entry that is present in the current address book, close the list dialog. Actual Results: The newly added address does not appear in the results pane. It appears that it was not added. After switching to another list (or the parent addressbook) and back to the original list, now it appears.
