*** observed with 2002-03-01 build *** in 6.2.1 the "Customize" key search was added to the list. We had this feature in 4.x but not in Netscape6.It allows you to add a header for filtering or searching. I am able to create such header using accented chars but nothing else (double-byte, cyrillic, central european), they display garbled in the drop-down list. I'll attach the screen-shot. Steps to reproduce: - open Search window; - among the noun criterias like Subject, sender etc select Customize... - in the upcoming dlgbox type a new header using any script except Latin-1; - click add (note that at this point the display is correct); //now click on the noun criteria to chose the customized header as a search criteria, note the display is garbled
i have to add that it is not OS locale dependant, i am not able to create a customized japanese header on JA NT.

Message headers has to be in ASCII only. We need to filter out non ASCII input.

Non-ASCII header labels are not legal.
