From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:0.9.8+)
Gecko/20020304
BuildID: 2002030403

Using commnad-w to close a tab crashes mozilla. This doesn't always happen, and
the crash usually is not immediate. The tab goes away and everything appears
fine, but after a short delay mozilla crashes.

I also see this using Mac OS 8.6 and 9.2.2

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open any page
2.Open another page in a new tab
3.command-w to close the tab

Actual Results: crash

Expected Results: no crash
Severity: normal → critical

Dupe of bug 120863 ?
Can you attach a stack trace from the crash log or a talkback ID (from Mac
classic) ?
This is 99.4% pure a dupe of bug 120863, and should probably be closed out along
with it. The described behavior (including the pause before the crash) is identical.
Reporter: This could be bug 120863, which is fixed in the current nightly
builds, available at:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/

Can you try if the nightly build still crashes?

Thanks!
Unfortunately the OSX mac is not with me anymore so I can't verify the fix
there. I have not been seeing this problem on this mac (OS 8.6) lately.
