This is a recent (within days) regression on Aurora 49 but I can't identify the change from commit log. STR: 1. With a profile that I visit https://www.youtube.com/ home page frequently 2. Type "youtube" on the location bar Expected: "https://www.youtube.com/" is ranked top before added bookmarks. Actual: All the results are individual videos URLs bookmarked. Note: I am sure there is a reason behind this change, but we should have better roll out than what I experienced. A lot of old Firefox users rely and only rely on frecency to find their stuff and seldom use bookmarks. At least consider high-frecency naked hostname as a bookmarked item...
We didn't make any change, afaik. Looks like something may have happened in your profile. Anything you did differently than usual? Any add-ons to check?
please attach an about:support log, so I can check status of the prefs and such.
(In reply to Marco Bonardo [::mak] (Away 6-20 Aug) from comment #2) > please attach an about:support log, so I can check status of the prefs and > such. Thanks for the reply. I was thinking it shouldn't be add-on because I did restart Firefox with add-on disabled and tried again. Upon inspecting the about:support I realized this pref was accidentally flipped: browser.urlbar.suggest.history Flipping it back fix my problem. I wonder which add-on flipped that for me....
