Details

Component: Chatzilla
Reproductible: Always
Expected behaviour: CZ should start after being closed upon trying to start it
Current behaviour: A download window pops up instead
OS'es tested on: Windows 2000, Linux
How to replicate:
1. Start Mozilla
2. Start CZ
3. Close CZ
4. Try to start CZ again

Notes:
Closing Mozilla altogether allows starting CZ once after restarting Mozilla.

Human description:
If I start Mozilla, start Chatzilla, close it and then try to reopen it, I get a
file save dialog box instead. The dialog box reads "Downloading chatzilla.xul -
You have chosen to download a file of type: XML-Based User Interface Language
[mozilla.application/cached.xul] from chrome://chatzilla/content/"

I have this problem on both Windows 2000 and Linux - they share the files,
except for prefs.js which is copied by a script before running Mozilla.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I had some problems with
themes - I applied modern, then a downloaded theme - the Linux Mozilla didn't
start anymore - so I came back to classic. I don't know if this has any effect
because I never started Chatzilla before applying these changes. If it does
matter, the theme I downloaded was Lopburi Flat.
