Is this a problem only on Windows?
Is it something specific in the help?
Do we know when this first appeared? Does 6.2 have this problem?
We *really* should fix this; window shuffling is *really* confusing when dialogs
are involved!

windoze only.
I'm not seeing this using this morning's commercial trunk build (2002030703) on
Win2K. shrir, can you still reproduce it using this build? Because when you
click the X to close the Help window, the Advanced Property Editor dialog now
has focus. Clicking Cancel out of that brings focus back to Insert Table dialog.
Clicking Cancel out of that brings focus back to Composer window.

I see what u mention on today's build. Try the minimize button...it does the
same thing( editor goes out of focus). let me know what u see.
Followed same steps as in my Comment 3 except I clicked minimize in Help window,
and I now see the bug as shrir describes it.
cc:ing Ian, our Help meister, in case he can shed some light on this bug.
over to dan for his assisitance, EDITORBASE- since this has nothing to do with
the correctness of editing content.

Changing target milestone to 'Future' since these seem to have missed the 1.2
alpha. If you are still considering a fix for 1.2 please re-target accordingly.

Whiteboard: EDITORBASE-
A stack of dependent windows focusing some surprising window when the top one is
closed really has to be bug 22658. This bug WFM using a recent Windows build.
That could be because the Composer people added script to fix the focus but I
see no flashing; this seems truly fixed. Only one facet of 22658 remains unfixed
at this time. That happens when one of the windows in the window stack is a
native (non-XUL) dialog, like a filepicker. However bug 189085 should take care
of that as well.
