Steps to reproduce:

If I start a website with HSTS and I receive an error message, this message does not contain the button "Advanced".

The Advanced button not only allows you to add an exception, but also displays additional information.

Expected results:

Additional information should be displayed.
Can you provide a testcase?

Disable the root certificate for any https site. Go to this website.

Now, I see that in FF DE the advanced button there.
I don't know for new release versions. This is true for FF 48

1. Load HSTS web-site, for expample, yandex.ru
2. See the root certificate in the context menu
3. Disable trust for the root certificate in the FireFox options
4. Load web-site

Instruments->Options->advanced->certificates->view certificates button->find certificate in the certificate list->change trust button->uncheck trust for website authentication
Thanks.

But with the steps, I see the "Advanced" button in the error page for HSTS.

As you confirmed it's fixed in Developer Edition, can you find which change fixed the issue?
You can use mozregression to find it.

I have no time now for this. If FF 50 (release) will not work, I will reopen this defect.
