129526 - Mac: Message list runs endless loop of resizing

My e-mail message list is sized to show five messages at a time without 
scrollbars.  I had five messages in my inbox.    When I received the sixth, 
instead of adding scrollbars, it began an endless loop of showing all 6 
messages, then rapidly returning to 5, then 6...   instead of just adding the 
scroll bars.

one already exist?

I was grumbling about a single jiggle when deleting messages. This sounds different.

Or just another instance of multiple scroll bar issues.

What could cause this bug to occur?  The user profile where this happened is 
one where I had other problems (repeated crashes, etc.).   The bar between the 
message list and message body was rapidly moving up and down a line or two.

Marking duplicate of bug 136930...

Normally I wouldn't mark an earlier bug duplicate of a later one but the later
one is for the same issue and is getting more attention.
