Steps to reproduce:

Create a WebExtension
Install it in the about:debugging page and choose "Charger un Module Temporaire"
Open the Web toolbox (Ctl-Alt-Shift-i)
Accept the connexion
Load a backgroud task js file
Change something in the source code
Clic on "Actualiser" to take in account the changes"



Actual results:

The executed code is updated but not in the debugger window
I don't find any way to view the new code


Expected results:

The source code may be updated in the debugger window

I try to reinstall from scratch, erasing profile firefox.

I have no more the crash, but my sources are not yet updated.
I use Notepad++ under windows to devellop.
Is there any problem with this editor ?

I try to install firefox dev edition 50.0a2 on a virtual machine with Ubuntu 64.

Same thing.

I took a quick look at the crash dump. I see nothing there to immediately suggest that this crash has to do with this bug, so I'm marking this as P2 for now.

Given that the crash didn't affect more users and that the posted crash id is no longer available, closing as incomplete for now. If you still see this, please re-open.
