We should find a solution to clean up and maintain an almost curated list of skills in mozillians.org. For more information see bug 1292358. One possible solution could be to split multiple skills from a user's input and query against the db to check if each skill already exists.

This is an RFE specific to mozillians, which is decom'ed.
If this is found to pertain to people.mozilla.org then please open a new issue.
