Once 1295966 is validated and confirmed in *both* Stage and Prod, we should remove the Elasticache resources (i.e. Redis) from the Kinto stack configuration. Of course, if the aforementioned bug fails to resolve successfully, this bug should not be completed either. :)
The change is now live in Stage and appears to be functional. As noted in comment #0, I'm holding off on removing the Elasticache code and data from our infra repos until we've got a validated Prod push out the door.
