User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:48.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/48.0
Build ID: 20160818092755
Steps to reproduce:
I've been using toolbar buttons for changing/toggling "browser.display.use_document_fonts" and "intl.accept_languages".
As more sites use remote-fonts and display pages in my local (I often don't like both), I find myself use my buttons quite frequently.
I'm sure that adding per-site exceptions to those settings is a highly important feature.
Thank you.

It's not clear to me why you want to change these preferences per-site.
If you don't like remote/web fonts, maybe just switch those off? ( gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled ) Or am I misunderstanding your issue?
Not sure what the issue with intl.accept_languages is, either.

Hello Gijs,
Thanks again. I appreciate it.
*browser.display.use_document_fonts*
https://notepad-plus-plus.org/community/
This is how I get the page when "browser.display.use_document_fonts" is default.

OTOH - if I disable web fonts, many sites are not displayed properly.
*intl.accept_languages*
I usually want pages to display in my local.
However, some sites function better in their original language and I'd like to set them as an exception.
Best regards.

This is how I get the page when gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled is set to false.

So I need to toggle browser.display.use_document_fonts.
And there are many other examples.
Thanks.

This seems to be more of an enhancement than an issue in my opinion.
However, I am assigning a component to this issue in order to involve the development team and get an opinion on this.
Severity: normal → enhancement
Component: Untriaged → Preferences
Doing a per site exception for this preference doesn't seem like a feature we should prioritize.
Ping UX owner Tina to get her opinion as well.

I agree with Cindy's opinion. Let's see it as a P5 feature for now :)

I'm also interested in having an option for specifying a "whitelist" of sites that should be allowed to use font icons (e.g. Font Awesome) even when browser.display.use_document_fonts is 0. Thanks.
