Steps to reproduce:

Have: high contrast theme
Have: override colors
Have: web browser background black
Have: text color white
Load: https://www.google.com


Actual results:

Cursor that is in textbox does not appear; can be trivially verified by typing


Expected results:

Cursor appears

Blocker -- I have reverted to FF44.
I'm not absolutely sure but I believe this bug is Linux specific.

Can you clarify where do you configure them and which specific theme?
in KDE's configuration or Firefox's configuration?

OK; K -> Search -> Colors -> Scheme; Obsidian Coast is selected. If you need a copy I think I can export it.

In addition; the web browser colors are configured in edit | preferences | content | colors.

I confirmed the issue with the configuration:
  * Debian 8.5 (Linux 3.16.0.4-amd64)
  * GTK 3.14.5-1+deb8u1
  * KDE 4.14.2
  * KDE's Obsidian Coast theme
  * Firefox's preference - Content - Colors - Text: Green
  * Firefox's preference - Content - Colors - Background: Black
  * Firefox's preference - Content - Colors - Override the colors specified by the page with my selection above: Always
